Job Description:

• Ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Engineering Department.
• Establishes, maintains, and trains standards and procedures for operations and safe working conditions in the department.
• Ensure the proper operation, maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of all heating, ventilation, refrigeration, and mechanical equipment.
• Develop and implement an inspection and preventive maintenance program of all buildings, equipment, and guest rooms, including the training of the Engineering staff on the management of such a program. Including written documentation of work performed.
• Responsible for responding to and handling all engineering and emergency-related issues.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Ensures communication with the Chief Engineer, all other Department Managers, and Engineering Staff
• Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
• Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with a weekly schedule.
• Assist the Chief Engineer with conducting departmental meetings.
• Follow up on projects and assignments given by the General Manager.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, as required to meet the needs of the Company’s business operations.
• Other cognate duties assigned by the Chief Engineer

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably in Leisure hotel operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is an advantage.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, including and strong in the MEP Skills strong skills in Electrical,mechanical,golfcar,plumbing system, fire alarm system, Osmosys,sewage, Treatment plant, Diesel generator steam boiler system
• Good leadership skills, Communicate, both verbally and in writing, to provide clear direction to staff.
• Command of the English language both written and verbal
• Computer literacy.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Proven track record of successful project management from conception to completion
• Working knowledge of relevant software programs.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
