Revenue Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Revenue Strategy and Optimization:

  • Lead the development and execution of pricing and revenue management strategies to optimize profitability across all market segments.
  • Oversee forecasting, demand analysis, and yield management to ensure maximum RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room).
  • Leverage market intelligence tools to benchmark and adjust strategies in real time.

Budgeting and Financial Planning:

  • Create, manage, and track the annual revenue management budget, ensuring alignment with the resort's overall financial goals.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to prepare and monitor forecasts, ensuring accurate and realistic revenue projections.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service and quality standards.
  • Provide detailed reports on budget performance, highlighting variances and suggesting corrective actions.

Distribution Channel Management:

  • Manage all distribution channels (direct and third-party) to ensure accurate rate parity and availability.
  • Optimize performance on OTAs, GDS, brand websites, and other booking platforms.
  • Work closely with the Global Sales Office (GSO) to identify opportunities and enhance group and FIT (Free Independent Traveler) revenues.

Website and Digital Strategy:

  • Enhance the performance of the brand website, including SEO, PPC, content updates, and booking functionalities.
  • Drive direct booking growth through data-driven marketing campaigns and user experience enhancements.
  • Utilize analytics tools to evaluate digital strategies and identify areas for improvement.

Revenue Technology and Analytics:

  • Efficiently manage revenue and operational software, including IDeaS, Opera, SynXis, Triptease, and Cyndyn.
  • Analyse and interpret data from benchmarking tools, and internal systems to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights and regular performance reports to senior leadership.

Group and Events Revenue:

  • Maximize revenue from group bookings, corporate events, and weddings by creating tailored packages and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor group and event profitability, ensuring alignment with the resort’s overall financial goals.

Performance Management:

  • Develop KPIs for team and departmental success, ensuring alignment with the resort’s strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations to drive a unified approach to revenue management.

Performance Objectives:

  • Consistently achieve or exceed revenue, ADR, and occupancy targets.
  • Enhance direct bookings as a percentage of total bookings by implementing effective digital campaigns.
  • Ensure alignment of inventory and pricing strategies with market demand and competitive positioning.
  • Deliver regular reporting and performance analyses to stakeholders with actionable recommendations.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in revenue management, preferably within luxury resorts or global hospitality brands.
  • Proficiency in revenue management systems (e.g., IDeaS), distribution tools (e.g., SynXis), and PMS platforms (e.g., Opera).
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and web analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
