Like leafing through the pages of an old photo album The Residence Mauritius awakens a nostalgic feeling and promises an unforgettable stay. The following five-day itinerary is an example of how guests would want to plan the romantic getaway during their stay.

ARRIVAL
Forget about everything else... Take the beach towels and head to the beach. Have a good dip and wash away all the tensions and stress of the daily life.

DAY 1 – THE BEGINNING OF A BEAUTIFUL STORY

Get acquainted with the Mauritian water either at the beach or at the swimming or relax in the common Jacuzzi.

MORNING
Have a sumptuous breakfast at the main restaurant The Dining Room. This restaurant, made entirely of wood and delicately positioned overlooking the pool, is an open invitation to discover the thousand and one savours of a sophisticated cuisine. Breakfast features both Western and local specialties, as well as a selection of freshly squeezed fruit juices.

Choose a sun lounger and let the body absorb the heat from the sun as you gaze at the spectacular beach or swimming pool.

AFTERNOON
Without leaving the coziness of the warm sun, we propose lunch at The Verandah, where the menu features a choice of exciting light dishes served around the pool. An impressive selection of toasted sandwiches, oven cooked pizzas, generous salads and homemade ice creams are proposed.

EVENING
Start with an aperitif at The Bar, spacious yet intimate, whose walls are hung with a fine collection of engravings of scenes from Mauritius's history, awaiting you with an exotic cocktail. Watch the evening show and musical entertainment while enjoying the cocktail.

Move to The Dining Room restaurant for dinner where a themed buffet or a Set Menu is served every-night.
 

DAY 2 – COUPLE OUTING

Have some fun in the comfort of a luxury car with the driver taking guests around the island for a breathtaking sight-seeing.

DAY
Take a tour to the South of the Island.
Visit the famous Hindu pilgrimage site of Grand Bassin – a lake in the crater of an extinct volcano, 1,800 foot above sea level.
Stop at the spectacular viewpoints offered by the Black River Gorges National Park, with views across the island and out to the Indian Ocean.
Visit The Chamarel 7 coloured Earth - A small village renowned for its 7 colored earths and its beautiful water-fall.

EVENING
Have a romantic candle light dinner on the beach at The Plantation restaurant with torches and private area

DAY 3 – ROMANCE & ADVENTURE

Enjoy an adrenaline fueled day with the better half

DAY
Leave for a full day trip by speed boat or for full day adventure at Domaine De L’Étoile.

The Speed boat trip will stop at the castaway islands near the hotel, where the guests could start with a discovery of the unique fauna & flora, through a 1.5 to 2 hours walking trail, led by trained Eco-tour rangers. Swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling are also available for the guests to experience. At the last stop, guests could enjoy a unique island lunch and relax for more.

For the more daring ones, Domaine de L’Étoile promises a full day of adventure. Enjoy a two-and-a-half-hour quad bike ride along the island’s mountain pathways and through the sugar cane fields. Try the island’s longest zip line. Stop for a traditional Mauritian buffet lunch in the nature reserve’s beautiful restaurant, situated in the heart of the mountain valley. End with archery or horseback riding.

EVENING
After the long day, enjoy a private and relaxing dinner in the comfort of the room. Then have a relaxed evening in the balcony or terrace to view the constellations under the clear night sky

DAY 4 – DISCOVERY DAY

DAY
Submarine trip in the North: Discover the Underwater world by booking a unique 2 hours’ trip under the beautiful Indian Ocean and sip champagne as you on an exclusive submarine. Relax onboard this intimate vessel and allow the pilot to show you the delightful marine life that live in the sea around Mauritius.

Lunch break at Le Pescatore restaurant. Beautifully decorated with a panoramic view of the horizon from its Creole veranda, Le Pescatore, is renowned not only for its refined atmosphere but above all for its culinary specialities and own "savoir-faire" of its Chef. The food is exquisite and of excellent quality for the menus proposed there has been meticulously studied and is consisted mainly of fresh local products.

AFTERNOON
Explore the North Coast

EVENING
Finish the day at The Plantation while enjoying the calm sea-breeze.

DAY 5 – ENJOY THE LAST HOURS IN PARADISE

Take advantage of each remaining moment.

DAY
Have an early breakfast and relax by the pool or beach
Experience the massage available at the Spa to remove any exhaustion from all the adventures.
