Cenizaro Hotels & Resorts Launches ‘Pack for Hope’ Initiative
Inviting guests to add items for local communities to their packing lists, which the resorts will distribute on their behalf
Cenizaro Hotels and Resorts warmly invites guests to participate in its new ‘Pack for Hope’ initiative. Part of the brand’s wider Cenizaro Cares programme, this new activation encourages travellers to dedicate a small portion of their suitcase to essential items which, once dropped off at the resort, will be gifted to local beneficiaries. From non-perishable food to educational supplies, books and sports equipment, small contributions can significantly impact the lives of those less fortunate in local communities, supporting their welfare and education. ‘Pack for Hope’ is a key component of Cenizaro's broader commitment to regenerative tourism, spanning across their properties in the Maldives, Zanzibar, Douz, Mauritius, Tunis, and Bintan.

The Cenizaro Cares programme is dedicated to making meaningful contributions through shared value, by not only giving back to the environments the properties are set in, but to the people within it. Each resort is partnered with local schools and orphanages, which would greatly benefit from supplies. Guests are encouraged to gift books to build out libraries, ensuring global thoughts, ideas, and expressions to area accessible to students of all ages. Stationery and sporting equipment will also be gratefully received and put to immediate use by the local children. Each of the resort teams also contribute to local food and clothing banks which donations can be gifted to, to help support locals in need, non-perishable foods and clothing items which guests may no longer wear are also of huge help.
By tailoring contributions to these specific needs, travellers can help Cenizaro provide targeted support that directly benefits neighbouring communities. Upon arrival, guests will be able to drop off any donations at reception.
