The Medina Mosaic Journey

Wander as you explore the labyrinthine ancient city of tiny pathways, cobbled alleys and glorious mosques, dating back to the 13th century. Hidden behind the medina walls is a souk brimming with stalls selling anything from traditional orange blossom perfume to leather bags, round felt hats and Tunisian bread.

Learn more about the medina of Tunis – the historic heart of Tunis, considered as one of the best-preserved Arab-Muslim cities, and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage since 1979. It was one of the largest and richest cities of the Islamic world. Some 700 monuments, including palaces, mosques, mausoleums, madrasas and fountains, testify to this remarkable past.
